Last week was a rough one for the husband. With a big project delivery on Tuesday he worked all weekend and very long days both Monday and Tuesday. So, I felt that he deserved a treat, and when Sugarcrafter posted her recipe for Flourless Chocolate Cake I was ready for it!
This recipe is incredibly simple, and also incredibly decadent!
Here are your ingredients – check out Sugarcrafter’s blog for the amount (link above)
First, you grind up the chocolate chips, sugar and instant coffee in a food processor. I will take a while and it’ll be LOUD. Just a warning!

Then you add in the rest of the ingredients, process until smooth and pour it in the pan! Bake it up as Sugarcrafter recommends – the timing was perfect for me.

The outside is chewy and brownie-like, and the inside is fudgy…almost like a super dense pudding. Perfect indulgence. Especially with leftover Creme Brulee Ice Cream by Vanilla Sugar!
This is definitely an indulgence, however, not an everyday treat!
