Sounds fancy, right? I was always afraid to make chicken cordon bleu because I thought it sounded too fancy to be easy to make! I was wrong. It’s actually SUPER easy to make! It’s nice to have different ways to dress up chicken since it’s such an available protein.
Here’s my process. For two servings you’ll need:
2 Chicken Breasts
2 ounces Deli Sliced Ham
1 slice swiss
panko bread crumbs
Preheat the oven to 375.
First you want to pound out the chicken breasts so they’re thin enough to stuff. I just put them between two sheets of plastic wrap and banged away with a rolling pin. You want them to be about 1/4 inch thick.
Then put 1 oz of ham and 1/2 slice of swiss in the middle of each chicken breast.
Then dip them in the bowl of egg whites, and roll them in panko crumbs.
