Pretzel Rolls from Serious Eats

I find that your basic whole wheat bread, while perfect for a PB&J just don’t always hit the spot. I love a good sandwich roll, so as soon as Serious Eats posted this recipe I was all over it.

These took a little while (you gotta give ’em time to rise), but were incredibly simple.

Right out of the oven. Note: these smelled INCREDIBLE while baking.

An perfect for an early lunch on the deck. A little mustard, a couple slices of roast beef and some cheese (I wish it would have been provolone or swiss though) and a side of fresh pineapple. Yum!

This is a pretty good beginner yeast recipe in my opinion, worth a try!
